Functional Classification
1. Bypass Valve: Ball valves are generally opened by still water, so a bypass valve is installed to equalize the pressure before filling with water on both sides.
2. Air Valve: During filling with water, air is expelled and the float automatically closes the valve; during drainage, air is added, and the float automatically descends.
3. Pressure Relief Valve: When opening and closing the valve, pressurized water between the valve and the sealing cover is expelled to prevent wear on the sealing cover.
4. Drain Valve: Drains wastewater from the lower part of the ball valve housing.
